What we do:

Webster Robertson has unrivalled expertise in managing all aspects of container fleets with a particular specialism in managing reefer fleets. The aspects that we cover are :-

Container provision
Working with leasing companies

i) age profile
ii) machine age/specification for reefers
iii) depot stock versus standard build
iv) pick / drop off costs
v) pick up credits
vi) per diem
vii) off hire costs
viii) ship spares

We could provide a typical cost structure from pick up to drop off i.e. an anticipated lifecycle cost. There are also some pros and cons of working with the leasing companies i.e. some have more technical support than others. Leasing companies will need recent accounts to set up a line of credit to enable pick up’s to start. We can lead or assist in negotiations with leasing companies.

Working with box and machine manufacturers to own reefers

There are 3 box builders (CIMC,Singamas,MCIQ) and now 4 machine suppliers (Carrier, Thermoking,MCI-Star Cool. Daikin). All have standard and enhanced specifications . We have direct and current experience of negotiation and managing reefer builds.

In Service Support

Managing spares

All the machine suppliers will provide ships spares kits to varying specs and prices but they will expect the customer to manage the re-stock of spares and would not get involved in inventory management. We have developed and run dedicated spares management successfully.

Compliance

We can prepare and organize the process of container compliance which includes BIC registration, understanding CSC and the design and implementation of ACEP scheme compliance. In addition we can explain and report on global Customs compliance on the temporary admission of containers.
